2. PII Data in ELCM

2.1 Introduction

Oracle FLEXCUBE Enterprise Limits and Collateral Management implements ‘Privacy By Design’ by protecting PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is the information that can be used on its own to identify a person. Any information that is used to distinguish one person from another can be a personally identifiable information. It can be any information like name, contact information, demography information, financial information, SSN, Passport number etc. Oracle FLEXCUBE allows you to mask, forget or restrict access to personally identifiable information of a user. You can mask or forget the PII based on the maintenance in Mask Maintenance and Forget Customer PII Maintenance screens.

2.2 Maintaining PII Data

If the data comes under the following categories for an individual user, then it is considered as PII data.

• Customer Name
• Customer Contact Information
• Demographic Information
• Financial Information
• Unique Identifiers

Privacy and security features are applied on PII information. Personal identifiable information captured and processed in ELCM application for the following function IDs.
