This figure shows a flowchart to help you decide whether to implement a collocated domain or a standalone domain. The initial choices are:

• You want to manage your Oracle HTTP Server on one or multiple hosts with Fusion Middleware Control

• You are not interested in managing your Oracle HTTP Server with Fusion Middleware Control: in this case you will implement a Standalone Domain

If you follow the first path, you can choose between:

• You want to access upper stack features, such as Oracle SOA Suite or Oracle Web Services Manager: in this case you will implement a Collocated Domain in Full-JRF Mode

• You plan to use only Oracle Traffic Director and Oracle HTTP Server: in this case you will implement a Collocated Domain in Restricted-JRF Mode
