public interface AccessProvider

The interface to be implemented for checking if a request object is valid for performing some protected operations in Visitor Service. This does not impact visitor information directly, but adds a layer of security that can be used to validate if a request is coming from trusted entities. Mainly used for accessing REST services for performing operations on behalf of other users (e.g. getting/updating visitor information by passing-in visitorID explicitly).

Based on authentication hint present in request object, the method returns a result of authentication validation code. The code is provided by custom implementations by overriding this method.
