SearchState
An input to the AssetSet operations.
SearchState methods instantiate the SearchState object and add different search constraints to it. There are corresponding
getmethods for all thesetmethods described for this object. Methods
new SearchState( )- Constructor method that instantiates the SearchState object. Creates an empty
SearchStateobject, and provides methods for creating search constraints. Once theSearchStateobject is instantiated, you can call associated SearchState methods on it.
setOP (OP)- Specifies the operation to be applied to the
SearchStateobject. Adds a search constraint that will be appended as anANDoperation or anORoperation to other constraints contained in the Searchstate instance.
setLikeConstraint(com.divine.LikeConstraint[] likeConstraint)- Passes a
LikeConstraintobject to aSearchStateobject. This method has a correspondinggetmethod.
setNestedConstraint(com.divine.NestedConstraint[] nestedConstraint)- Passes a
NestedConstraintobject to aSearchStateobject. This method has a correspondinggetmethod.
setRangeConstraint(com.divine.RangeConstraint[] rangeConstraint)- Passes a
RangeConstraintobject to aSearchStateobject. This method has a correspondinggetmethod.
setRichTextConstraint(com.divine.RichTextConstraint[] richTextConstraint)- Passes a
RichTextConstraintobject to aSearchStateobject. This method has a correspondinggetmethod.
setStandardConstraint(com.divine.StandardConstraint[] standardConstraint)- Passes a
StandardConstraintobject to aSearchStateobject. This method has a correspondinggetmethod.
Parameters
OP (optional)- Input parameter for the
setOPmethod. SearchState type, eitherANDorOR. The default isAND.
Description
Methods update the named object or SearchState to include the new constraint. If the attribute is already in the SearchState, then the new constraint replaces the old constraint.
Example
This code instantiates a
SearchStateobject calledSS, specifies anANDoperation, and adds a standard constraint:Searchstate ss = new Searchstate(); ss.setOP("and"); ss.setStandardConstraint(stand_cons);See Also
