API Builder

API Builder is an in built tool that enables banks in developing Pass through APIs for OBDX using the REST APIs exposed by a backend banking application like Core Banking System, Wealth Management System, and Corporate Mid Office Application etc.

From channel banking perspective, there can be some extra validation and aspects required to be made available on the Pass through APIs. Additional checks like setting up of transaction limits, configuration of accounts that a user can access on channel, Maker and Checker rule for corporate transactions, second factor authentications (OTP, Security Question, Soft Token) etc. can be enabled on the pass through APIs.

Features:

• API Group Builder – Host level parameters like Host IP, Port name etc. that are common for a set of APIs and for one module can be configured at API group level.
• API Builder – Once the API group is created, Bank user can create pass through APIs for that module using this function. All the service level parameters like service name, service URL, transaction type, entitlement category details etc. needs to be entered for creating a service
