Prerequisites for Event Reports

The Posted Event Revenue report provides a view of Expected, Guaranteed, Billed, and Posted Event Revenues. The information is listed by Event and Revenue Type within the selected time period. You can use the Posted Event Revenue report to verify that all revenue is posted or to identify and research discrepancies between the billed and posted revenue amounts.

Selection Criteria

Report Data

Select the filters for report search results. The only mandatory filter is Property.

Property. Select properties from the LOV for which the report should be printed.

Event Date. Allows the selection of any event date range. When you select a date range, the events are reported by event date within the property.

Event Date From. Type or select the calendar button for the beginning date for the report results.

Event Date To Date. Type or select the calendar button for the ending date for the report results.

Block. The LOV displays the Manage Block search screen where you can select the block(s) with the desired events. Select a single block or a range of blocks for the report. Events are sorted by date inside the block.

Event Type. Select the event types that should be included in the report. When this field is left empty, all of the event types are considered.

Catering Owner. You can print the report for a specific catering manager or a range of catering managers. The report relies on the catering manager’s initials you select on the Booking Catering tab for this filter.

Event Status. Enables you to select the event statuses to include in the report. When this field is left empty, all event statuses are considered.

Revenue Type. Defines the catering revenue types to print. When this field is left empty, all of the revenue types are considered.

Currency. Select the currency of the revenue converted and reported on the report.

Events are filtered by those attached to a booking with the selected owners as a catering owner within the selected time period.

Event ID. Event ID of the event.

BB ID. The business block ID of the event.

Event Start Date. The beginning date of the event.

Rev Type. The category of revenue associated with the event, such as Food, Beverage, and so on.

Event Start Time. The time of day the event starts on the event date.

Expected. The amount of revenue expected for the revenue type during the course of the event.

Event Status. The current status of the event, such as Definite, Tentative, or Actualized.

Guaranteed. The amount of guaranteed revenue for the revenue type on the event.

Event Type. The name of the event, such as Breakfast, Meeting, and so on.

Billed. The amount of billed revenue for the revenue type of the event.

Space. The room or facility where the event is being held.

Posted. The amount posted for the revenue type of the event.

Cat Owner. The catering manager/owner associated with the block.

Var: Posted-Billed. The difference in revenue between the posted and billed revenues by revenue type.

Event Property. The property code where the event is being held.

Business Block Name. Description of the Business Block ID associated with the event.

Total for Event (Event ID). The total amount of revenue Expected, Guaranteed, Billed, and Posted. The total variance amount indicates the total variance between the amount Posted and the amount Billed for the event.
