Configuring Membership Transaction Groups

Transaction Groups are used within the setup of point calculation rules for Membership Types. Within a rule, you may specify if points are calculated by a transaction group. You can identify which transaction (charge) codes belong within the transaction group so that OPERA Cloud calculates points based on the charge codes selected here that are posted in the reservation account. For example, you may create a transaction group called All Revenue and within this group, you can select all sales charge transaction codes excluding non-revenue, paid out etc. When this transaction group is applied to a calculation rule, points are calculated if the selected charge codes are posted to the reservation account.
