Configuring UDF Values

You can configure the list of values that appear for a flex field and link them to a specific UDF Group.

For example, you might have a Vehicle Type flex field on reservations containing the values GM, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Honda, and so on. These values would then be linked to the Vehicle Type UDF Group.

Adding a UDF Value

  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select User Interface Management, and then select UDF Values.

  2. Click New and complete the following information:

    1. Group. Select the UDF Groups and Values from the list.

    2. Code. Enter the name for the UDF value list.

    3. Description. Enter a description that explains the UDF value list. This description appears when users select from the list of values.

  3. Click Save or click Save and Continue to add more groups.

Editing a UDF Value

  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select User Interface Management, and then select UDF Values.

  2. Select or confirm the Property, enter optional search criteria, and click Search.

  3. From search results, click the row level vertical ellipsis for the UDF Value and select Edit. Make the desired changes.

  4. Click Save.

Deleting a UDF Value

  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select User Interface Management, and then select UDF Values.

  2. Select or confirm the Property, enter optional search criteria, and click Search.

  3. From search results, click the row level vertical ellipsis for the UDF Value and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
