Managing Folio Histories

A copy of each folio is generated when a reservation balance is settled, when an Accounts Receivable invoice is created, when a deposit folio is created, if deposit folios are active with the Advanced Deposit Handling OPERA Control or when a passer-by folio is generated is stored in OPERA Cloud folio history. From the Folio History screen, folios can be generated in any of the available folio styles.

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Financials, Cashiering and then select Folio History.
  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.
  3. To generate the folio:
    1. Locate the folio in the result and click the Vertical Ellipse, select Quick Print Folio.
    2. On the Report Destination page.
      1. Folio Style: The default folio style is displayed; click to select a different folio style. For more information, see Selecting Folio Styles for Viewing, Printing.

      2. View in Currency: Click to select a different currency to generate the folio.

      3. Folio Text: Click to add custom folio text.

      4. Report Destination:
        1. Preview: Select to preview in PDF.

        2. Email to Print: Select to print to selected printer.

        3. Email: Select to delivery via email as PDF attachment. Select or enter an email address.

        4. Download: Click to download folio in a variety of formats; select the format.

    3. Click Process.
  4. To generate a Credit Bill:
    1. Locate the folio in the result and click the Vertical Ellipse, select Generate Credit Bill.
