Event Note Change Log Report (Rep_Event_Note_Changelog)

The Event Note Change Log Report is created to report changes to Banquet Event Orders (BEO) after distribution without having to reprint the entire original sheet. It works in conjunction with event notes. To have change notes print on the report, you must create an event note for the appropriate event with the notes type: Change. OPERA Cloud stamps the note with the date, time, and user name. In the notes, enter any changes you want included in the distributed Change Log report.

Report General Conditions

  • The new parameter form is named REP_EVENT_NOTE_CHANGELOG.

Report Parameters

  • All the parameters are in one section.

Fields

  1. Property: Confirm or select a property. At the Hub level, you are presented with a multi select list.

  2. Block: Select a specific block to print in the report. When selecting a Master Block ID in the Business Block filter, OPERA Cloud also includes the Sub Block IDs linked to that Master. The report prints all events linked to the Master and its Sub Blocks. If a Sub Block ID is selected, only Events linked to that Sub Block are printed.

  3. Event: Select specific events to be included in the report.

  4. Event Dates From: Select an event date from range.

  5. Event Dates To: Select an event date to range.

  6. Change Log From Date: Select a date range covering the period in which change notes were created. The system compares this to the change note date/time stamp of creation/last modification.

  7. Change Log To Date: Select a date range covering the period in which change notes were created. The system compares this to the change note date/time stamp of creation/last modification.

  8. Change Log Times: Enables you to narrow down the selection of a time period during which the changes were made. This filter is evaluated against the date/time stamp of creation/modification of the event change notes.

  9. User: If nothing is specified in this field, it’s assumed all users are available for filtering. Select a specific user for which to print changes. This will be compared against the user name stamped onto the event change notes on creation/modification.

  10. Internal Notes: The report only prints event change notes that are also flagged as internal if the flag is checked on the filter form.

Report Data

The report prints in event date order. Within each date, events prints per block and within each block. Only events that do have event change notes attached print on this report. Information that prints includes, block name and account name, event ID, event date, event time, and event name. The main information in regard to the event change notes shows change date, change time, change made by, event ID, and the text of the change note itself.

When no filters are populated, the current date (change log dates/time) passes to the report.
