As well as generating registration cards "on-demand" for arrivals, you can also generate registration cards, in advance, in a batch process. For example, this is useful for group arrivals where key packets containing a registration card are prepared in advance.
Note:
A limit of 1000 registration cards can be generated in a batch.When the Print Registration Cards for Accompanying Guests OPERA Control is active you can generate a registration card for accompanying profiles linked to the reservation; the Age Threshold to Print Registration Card OPERA Control determines the minimum age for a registration card to be generated.
Note:
As only one registration card is selected , language-specific stationery is not generated using this batch process when the Mult-language OPERA Control is active.Generating Registration Cards
From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Front Desk, select Front Desk Workspace then select Registration Cards
Enter reservation and profile search criteria and click Search.
Sort by: Click to select a different sort order from the list.
Select the reservations in the search result and click Process Registration Card.
Note:
To select all reservations listed click the checkbox in the column titles.
Enter the following details:
Select a Registration Card: Select a registration card template from the list (Selection defaults according to the Default Registration Card OPERA Control)
Select Guests
Primary and Accompanying: Select to generate a registration card for the primary guest and any accompanying guests linked to the reservation (Enabled when the Print Registration Cards for Accompanying Guests OPERA Control is active).
Primary Only: Select to generate a registration card for the primary guest linked to the reservation.
Select Destination
Preview: Select to generate as PDF (preview to print).
Email to Print: Select to print.
Select a printer from the list
Email.: Select to email to a recipient.
Enter a recipient email address..
Click Process.
