How the Origin of an Activity Affects Handling if the Item Originates in Siebel CRM

If an item originates in Siebel CRM, then Siebel CRM creates the activity on the Siebel Server. When Siebel CRM Desktop downloads this activity from the Siebel Server, it creates a native Outlook item if the current user is the owner of the To Do item, or if the current user is in the meeting participant list. Siebel CRM Desktop creates the activity as a simple calendar entry. No additional handling occurs in Outlook.
