Working with Pick Slip Messages (WPSM)

Purpose: The Work with Pick Slip Messages screen is used to create, change, delete, or display messages. Messages to be included on pick slips can be customer service messages, warehouse messages, gift messages, etc. The format of the message determines where the message will print.

Work with Pick Slip Messages Screen

How to display this screen: Enter WPSM in the Fast Path field at the top of any menu.

Field	Description
Message	A code that represents the message. Alphanumeric, 2 positions; optional.

Screen Option	Procedure
Create a new pick slip message	Select Create to advance to the Create Pick Slip Message Pop-up Window.
Change a pick slip message	Select Change for the Opt field to advance to the Change Pick Slip Message window. At the Change window you can change any information except the Message number. See Create Pick Slip Message Pop-up Window for field descriptions.

Create Pick Slip Message Pop-up Window

To create a pick slip message: At the Work With Pick Slip Message screen, select Create.

Field	Description
Message	A code that represents the pick slip message. Numeric, 2 positions. Create screen: required. Change screen: display-only.
Message text	You can enter up to 3 lines of message text. This free-form message text will print on each pick slip. Alphanumeric, 40 positions (each line); required.
