Scan Non-Inventory Items (K34)

Purpose: Use this screen to control whether you scan non-inventory items in pick pack verification.

Yes/no field: Select this field if you want to scan non-inventory items at the Pick Pack Verification Screen. With this setting, you cannot complete packing of a pick slip until all non-inventory items on the pick slip are scanned.

Which items are affected? This system control value does not affect whether you scan membership items, gift cards, or set master items, as these items are not available for scanning regardless of the setting of this value. This value controls only the scan of regular items flagged as Non/inv.

Leave this field unselected if you do not want to scan non-inventory items. With this setting, you cannot scan non-inventory items at the Pick Pack Verification Screen; if you attempt to scan a non-inventory item, the screen displays an error message indicating that the item is not on the pick slip.
