LDAP and Domain Configuration

Purpose: Use the LDAP and Domain Configuration page to specify the LDAP settings available for your network. This setup enables you to configure users so they can log onto Order Management System, including Modern View, using their standard network password rather than setting up a separate, application-specific password.

Important:                               LDAP authentication is not currently supported in Order Management System Cloud Service.

User setup: To set up a user for LDAP authentication, complete configuration through the Work with Users option in Classic View, including:

         Selecting the LDAP Authentication flag.

Specifying the Domain for the user. This is from an LDAP ID specified through the LDAP and Domain Configuration page.

Specifying the LDAP User Name, if it is different from the user name in Order Management System.

The information required for LDAP configuration should be available from your Information Technology staff.

For more information: See the Administration Guide for more information on setting up users.

Note:             Access to this page is based on your authority to the WLDP (LDAP and Domain Configuration) menu option. If you have DISPLAY authority, you can advance to the page, but not add, change, or delete any records.

How to display: Select LDAP and Domain Configuration from a menu.
