Item Search Results Options

Purpose: You can perform the following actions on the Item Search Results window.

•         Select an Item to Add to the Order

•         Sort the Item Search Results

•         Filter the Item Search Results

Select an Item to Add to the Order

1.      Double-click on an item to return to the Add Order Line page.

2.      The item you selected displays in the Item ID field. In addition, if the item contains SKU’s, the system populates the SKU field with the valid SKU’s for the item.

3.      Follow the steps in the Add an Item by Item ID and SKU instructions to add the item to the order.

Sort the Item Search Results

You can sort on any column on the Item Search Results window by clicking on the column name. An arrow pointing up displays next to the field when the values for the field display in ascending sequence; an arrow pointing down displays next to the field when the values for the field display in descending sequence.

Item search results first display on this page in ascending item ID sequence.

Filter the Item Search Results

You can refine the items that display on the Item Search Results window by entering information in one or more of the following fields. Note: The system performs the refinement only on the records that display on this page; the refinement is not performed against any additional records that may exist in the database.

•         Item ID: Enter a full or partial item ID to display items whose item ID starts with your entry.

•         Item Description: Enter a full or partial item description to display items whose item description contains your entry.

•         Keywords: Enter a full or partial keyword to display items whose keywords contain your entry.
