This book also contains the following changes:

  • Checking Your Java Runtime Environment. Deleted topic. This topic described how to check the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version in Windows operating systems. Starting with Release 40, you do not need to have JRE installed in order to run the Oracle Migration Tool On Demand client on a Windows operating system. The JRE requirements for operating systems other than Windows operating systems are described in Software Requirements for Installing the Oracle Migration Tool On Demand Client.

  • Migration Dependencies. Information has been added about the dependencies between:
    • Page layout field information and page layout related information

    • Page layout field information and page layout section information

  • Various topics. The directory paths in various examples have been updated to reflect the new directory structure for the unzipped Oracle Migration Tool On Demand client files.

  • Privilege IDs and Their Corresponding Names and Descriptions. The following privileges have been deleted because they are obsolete:

    • TAB_ANALYTICS (Access Analytics Dashboards)

    • TAB_REPORTS (Access Analytics Reports)

  • The information in the Auditing and Log Files topic in the Troubleshooting Oracle Migration Tool On Demand chapter has been replaced by a link to the Auditing and Log Files topic in the Getting Started with Oracle Migration Tool On Demand chapter.
