You can move objects/folders from one folder to another. When you move an object out of its home folder, the folder you move it into becomes its new home folder. If you move a folder, you move the folder with its contents.
To move an object, you must have Edit permission on the source and target. If the object is in its home folder, you must have Admin permission on the object.
To move objects:
- From the Setup drop-down list, select the hierarchy from which you want to move the objects.
- Select the object you want to move.
- From the toolbar, click Move to. The Move To dialog box appears.
- Select the folder into which you want to move the object.
- Click OK.
