By default, all of the data markers in a series share property values. They have the same color, same border color, and so on.
You can create a marker that does not look like other markers in the series. Such a marker is called an exceptional riser. It replaces the marker that normally appears in the series. You identify the marker that you want to replace by its series and group.
The following code creates an exceptional riser that is red instead of the series color.
The riser replaces the first marker in the graph. This code assumes that you have a graph that
is named myGraph
.
ExceptionalRiser myRiser = myGraph.createExceptionalRiser(0,0); myRiser.setFillColor(Color.red);
If you have exceptional risers, and you want these markers to display series properties
rather than looking different from the rest of the series, you call the
destroyAllExceptionalRisers
method of the graph. This method removes all
exceptional risers from the graph, so that all markers share series properties.
The following code demonstrates how to have all the markers share series properties. This
code assumes that you have a graph that is called myGraph
.
myGraph.destroyAllExceptionalRisers();
