Miscellaneous Graph Components

The following table lists components that do not easily fit into any of the other categories for graph components. The table's three columns display the component name, its description, and the graph types that contain it.

Component

Description

Graph Types

Fitline

A line that shows a trend in a series; either logarithmic or linear

Bar, line, area, and combination graphs

QuadrantLine

Vertical and horizontal lines that divide the plot area of a bubble graph into sections

Bubble

SplitDivider

Horizontal line between two regions of a split dual-Y graph

Split dual-Y graphs (where the constant ends with "SPLIT2Y")

ParetoLine

Line that shows percentages in a pareto graph

Pareto

Connector

Line that connects a slice to a bar that shows detail for the slice, in a pie-bar graph

Pie-bar

Series

Special component that groups the properties that are shared by a series of data, such as the color of the markers, the shape of the data markers, and so on

All graphs

ExceptionalRiser

Special component in a bar graph that does not conform to the other bars in the series

Bar graphs, 3-D graphs, and line or area graph where the MarkerType for a series is set to a bar

GraphBackground

The background of the entire graph
