A crosstab component is a part of the crosstab. Each component has its own properties, which you set separately to affect the display of the crosstab.
The following figure shows a Java-client crosstab and its components. An HTML-client crosstab has the same components, though their appearance is different.

Paging Control |
Specifies the page of data that is displayed in the crosstab. This component is not visible by default. |

The title of the crosstab -- usually describes the entire crosstab. This component is not visible by default. |
Subtitle |
The subtitle of the crosstab -- usually describes something about the crosstab. This component is not visible by default. |
Footnote |
The footnote of the crosstab -- usually describes something about the crosstab. This component is not visible by default. |
Note: In a Java-client crosstab, user-interface components make it possible to show components that are not visible by default.
