Graph Layout Panel

Use the Graph Layout Panel to rearrange the data in a graph. In the Graph Layout Panel, you can rearrange items that represent dimensions and measures. When these changes are applied, then actual dimension members and measures are displayed in the specified positions on the graph.

The following list describes two ways to rearrange items in the Graph Layout Panel:

Panel components

Show Page Items box -- Specifies whether to show the items for the page edge of the graph. When items for the page edge are displayed on the graph, then you can manipulate those items directly. When the items for the page edge are not displayed on the graph, then you must use the Graph Layout Panel to manipulate them.

Page items box -- Specifies the items for the page edge of the graph, such as Product, Time, Geography, Channel and Measures Dimension.

Measures box -- Lists the measures that are currently available. Depending on the current graph type, you may be able to specify the measures to display.

Diagram -- Shows the position of markers and groups for the graph. The markers that are shown are the types of markers that are displayed for a particular graph type, such as bars for bar graphs, and slices for pie graphs. Markers represent data on the graph.

Markers box -- Specifies the items for the markers of the graph. The markers that are shown are the types of markers that are displayed for the current graph type, such as bars for bar graphs, and slices for pie graphs. Markers represent data on the graph. This box represents graph series.

Groups box -- Specifies the items for the groups of the graph. On a bar graph, a group is a cluster of bars. On a pie graph, a group is the entire pie. In a pie-bar or ring-bar graph, this box is labeled Bars box.
