What is a Crosstab?

A crosstab presents data in rows, columns, and pages. It is an analysis tool that is used to view and to manipulate data so that you can easily see different aspects of the data. Common operations in a crosstab are:

BI Beans includes a Java-client crosstab and an HTML-client crosstab. When you use the Java-client crosstab, you work with the oracle.dss.crosstab.Crosstab class and with the crosstab components. When you use an HTML-client crosstab, you work with the oracle.dss.thin.beans.crosstab.ThinCrosstab class and with the crosstab components.
