ExplorerTree JSP Tag Attributes

Use the ExplorerTree JSP tag  to create an instance of the oracle.dss.thin.beans.persistence.ExplorerTree object, which allows users to browse the BI Beans Catalog.

Important: In the current release of BI Beans, the ExplorerDetail tag provides full browsing capability for the BI Beans Catalog. Consider using the ExplorerDetail tag rather than the ExplorerTree tag especially when viewing a Catalog with folders that may contain a large number of items.

Attributes

id -- (Required) A unique identifier for this tag.

scope -- Determines the accessibility and lifetime of the object; select one of the following values: Page, Request, Session, or Application. Typically, use Session, which is the default value.

rootName -- Specifies a label that is to be displayed beside the root folder in the JSP page.

selectedFolder -- Specifies the path and name of a folder that is to be highlighted as a selection when the JSP page is displayed; optionally use the Browse button in the Value column to locate the folder.

allowFilter -- Indicates whether to display filter controls as part of this object.

allowSearch -- Indicates whether to display search controls for this object.

explorerDetailPage -- Specifies the page to navigate to after a folder is selected. This page should contain the ExplorerDetail tag. Note: If this attribute is not specified, then the current JSP page becomes the destination page and, therefore, must contain the ExplorerDetail tag.

explorerDetailFrame -- If you are using frames, specifies the target frame for the page that contains the ExplorerDetail tag.

explorerDetailId -- If you are using an ExplorerDetail with the ExplorerTree tag, specifies the identifier of the ExplorerDetail tag, to which an event is sent when a folder is selected in this ExplorerTree object. This identifier must be contained in the page that is referenced by the explorerDetailPage attribute.

searchPage -- (Valid only if the allowSearch attribute is True.) Specifies the page to navigate to if the Go button of this ExplorerTree object is selected. This page should contain a SearchTool tag in order to display search results.

searchFrame -- If you are using frames and the SearchTool, specifies the target frame for the search results.

searchToolId -- (Valid only if the allowSearch attribute is True.) Specifies the identifier of the SearchTool tag that is to display search results. This identifier must be contained in the page that is referenced by the searchPage attribute.
