BI Beans provides a number of resources to help both new and experienced users, including the following:
The BI Beans product area on Oracle Technology Network (http://otn.oracle.com/products/bib/content.html
)
is a valuable resource for information about BI Beans. It always contains the
latest information that is available, including white papers, technical notes,
and new samples.
For a list of support contacts, go to http://www.oracle.com/support/
. In the left frame, under Support Services, click Call Oracle Support.
Web support is available through MetaLink (http://metalink.oracle.com
).
MetaLink requires a support identifier.
To ensure that you have the latest information, you can do any of the following:
Use the hosted version of Help. In hosted Help, the topic files reside on a web server, but the Help engine runs on your local machine. Using hosted Help is described in the JDeveloper documentation.
Access Help directly from Oracle Technology Network (http://otn.oracle.com
)
in your default browser. This version of Help runs independently of JDeveloper and does not support context-sensitivity.
Download the file bibeanshelp.jar
from Oracle Technology Network and replace the file of the same name in your JDeveloper installation, which you will find in ../jdeveloper/doc/ohj
.
To ensure that our documentation meets your needs, we need your feedback. Please email comments to bibeansdochelp_ww@oracle.com
.
The kinds of feedback that will help us improve the quality of the documentation include the following:
Identification of incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information
Description of tasks that you had difficulty accomplishing
Note of any information that you could not find or found only with difficulty
