Add or Remove Users and Roles Dialog Box

Use the Add or Remove Users and Roles dialog box to allow or to restrict access to a folder in the BI Beans Catalog. To display this dialog, complete the following steps:

  1. Select a folder to which you have "full control" privilege.

  2. From the explorer File menu, choose Properties.

  3. In the Properties dialog box, select the Privilege tab.

  4. Choose Add.

Dialog box components

Available list -- A list of users and roles that have been defined.

Selected list -- Users and roles that have been selected to have privileges to the folder.

Add selected items button -- Adds the highlighted available users or roles to the Selected list.

Add all items button -- Adds all available users and roles to the Selected list.

Remove selected items button -- Removes the highlighted users or roles from the Selected list.

Remove all items button -- Clears the Selected list.

Add with Privilege box -- Specifies the privilege level to assign to the selected user or role. You must move the user or role to the Selected list in order for the privilege to take effect.
