Administrators can change users' passwords.
Note:You cannot change passwords if you are running P6 EPPM in LDAP or SSO authentication mode.
To change a user password:
- Click Administration.
- On the Administration navigation bar, click User Administration.
- On the User Administration page, click Users.
- On the Users page:
- Select a user.
- Click Row Actions and click Change Password.
- In the Change Password dialog box:
- In the New Password field, enter a new password.
- In the Confirm New Password field, enter the new password again for verification and click Change.
- On the Users page, click Save.
Tips
- When the Password Policy is enabled, the password must be between 8 and 20 characters and contain at least one number and one letter. The policy is enabled by default.
- When the Password Policy is disabled, the password must be between 1 and 20 characters. The application does not allow blank passwords.
