Create steps to break activities down into their component parts.
To create steps:
- Click Projects.
- On the Projects navigation bar, click Activities.
- On the Activities page, select an activity you want to break down into smaller parts and click the Steps detail window.
- In the Steps detail window, repeat the following for each step you want to add to the activity.
- Click Add.
- Enter a value in the Step Name, Step % Complete, and Step Weight fields.
- Click Save.
Tips
- You can also create steps on the Activity Details page of the Open Requests for Resources portlet of the Dashboards page.
- You can also create steps by clicking Row Actions and selecting Add.
