Data Entry Controls: P6 provides easy-to-use controls for entering data. To assist you in choosing the right types of values, fields will sometimes present dialog boxes or calendars for selecting from a pre-defined list of values or dates. Familiar value lists help narrow choices and enforce consistency. You'll also recognize standard options (a term used for both check boxes and option buttons or radio buttons), tables, spreadsheets, Gantt charts, calendars, and other on-screen controls. Where you can select multiple options, you can hold down Shift while clicking to select a contiguous group of items, or hold down Ctrl while clicking to select individual items.
