Importing Locations

You can import new locations into P6 from a Microsoft Excel (.xls) file.

To import locations:

  1. Click Administration.
  2. On the Administration navigation bar, click Enterprise Data.
  3. On the Enterprise Data page, expand Global and click Locations.
  4. On the Locations page, clickActions and select Import from Excel Import.
  5. In the Import Locations dialog box:
    1. In the Import File field, clickSelect and select a file.
    2. Click Import.
  6. In the import confirmation message box, click OK.
