To configure a client computer for Oracle Instant Client:
- Copy Oracle Instant Client to a local drive.
- Open the Windows Control Panel and click System.
- Click Advanced System Settings.
- On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
- In the System variables pane, locate the Path variable.
- Click Edit.
- In the Variable Value field, add the location of the Oracle Instant Client (specified in step 1).
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
