After installing Job Service, the following configuration steps are required for Windows 2008 R2 Servers:
- From the command line (or Start, Run utility), run mmc -32
- From the File menu select Add / Remove snap-in.
- Select Component services from Available Snap-ins and Add it to selected snap-ins using Add button.
- Click OK.
- Navigate to DCOM Config node in left hand side tree view.
- On the right pane, locate the DCOM entry:

- Right-click on the DCOM entry in the right panel and select Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, on the Identity tab, select the This User option. Enter the Password for a user who has administrative privileges on the machine you are using.
- Click OK to close the dialog box.
