Integrating Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis (PPM Databases Only)

Prerequisites:

  1. Start Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis and select Primavera, Connection Wizard from the File menu.
  2. In the Primavera P6 Connection Wizard:
    1. Select P6 Professional and click Next.
    2. In the Java JRE location field, select the location of the 32-bit JRE.
    3. Complete the rest of the wizard.
  3. Open Registry Editor.
  4. In Registry Editor:
    1. Navigate to the following path:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE

    2. Add a new key and give it the name Primavera.
    3. Add a new key inside Primavera and give it the name P6 Professional.
    4. Add a new key inside P6 Professional and give it the name IAPI.
    5. In the IAIP folder add a new String Value key.
    6. In the Name field for the new key, type APIJARS.
    7. In the Data field for the new key, enter the location of the P6 Integration API installation.
    8. Save the changes and close Registry Editor.
  5. Run dbconfig.cmd as an administrator.
  6. In Database Configuration:
    1. Select Create a new configuration and enter the name INTERNAL_PLUGINS.
    2. Complete the rest of the wizard.
