By default, all P6 Professional applications are installed using native authentication. Native authentication is handled directly through the module application with the P6 Professional database acting as the authority.
To implement non-native authentication for P6 Professional applications:
- Use the Authentication tab in the Primavera P6 Administrator to choose an authentication scheme for the P6 Professional database (PMDB).
- Configure administrative settings for the P6 Professional API.
