When using an Oracle database, you must install Oracle Multimedia, along with these supporting components: Oracle JVM, Oracle XML DB (XDB), and XML Developer's Kit (XDK). Unless you specify otherwise, all these components automatically get installed with the latest versions of an Oracle database. If you chose not to install these components, you will need to install them before you upgrade P6 EPPM. See the Oracle Multimedia's User's Guide for information on how to install these components.
