Follow the steps below to install OIM and the other applications needed to use OIM:

- Install Oracle Identity Manager (OIM). For details, refer to the Oracle Fusion Middleware Online Documentation Library available at: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/id-mgmt/documentation/index.html
- After installing and configuring the Oracle Identity Manager Server for the first time, you must start the Oracle Identity Manager Managed Server. For details, refer to the Oracle Fusion Middleware Online Documentation Library available at: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/id-mgmt/documentation/index.html
- Install Primavera Unifier:
- Verify the installation works.
- Open the Unifier Configurator.
- In the Authentication tab, in the User Authentication Type field, select OIM/OAM.
