Unifier helps you to collaborate with your fellow team members through business processes. Your tasks are business processes that are in process and with which you are involved. When you are part of a business process workflow, or, in Classic View, have been invited to participate in a discussion group within a business process, you are assigned a task.
After you create and send a workflow business process, Unifier creates a task for each of the assignees in the next step in the workflow, and sends a message to each user that has been Cc'd.
In general, your are assigned a task under the following conditions:
- You are part of a BP workflow, and you are requested, or required, to take some sort of action.
- You have been invited to join a discussion group in Classic View by another user who is requesting assistance with drafting comments or markups on a BP. These are indicated as being sent for "Discussion" in the task.
The following tasks are not listed in your Tasks log:
- Tasks for view-only.
- Tasks for inactive Projects/Shells.
If you are designated as an assignee on a task, you will receive an email notification, and the task will appear in your Tasks log.
After you create and send a workflow business process, Unifier creates a task for each of the assignees in the next step in the workflow, and sends a message to each user that has been Cc'd.
