The reservation business process is similar to any other business process. You need to fill in the upper form fields as necessary, and add line items for detail information about the reservation.
The upper form of the reservation business process should include From Date and To Date fields which you need to complete, and should also include one or more data pickers, where you choose the object or objects that you want to reserve. In the example above, the room and projector fields are the data pickers from which you can select multiple objects to reserve for this event.
The reservation business process can be designed to include additional information about this reservation, such as food catering for the event.
The reservation business process has two special features:
- Schedules
- Enables you to open the Schedules window and view the reservation schedule for the objects you are reserving with this reservation BP.
- Is useful for comparing the availability of multiple objects being booked for the same event, and to resolve conflicts or identify openings in the schedule.
- Recurrence
- Enables you to specify how often this reservation should be created. When you use this options, Unifier continues to automatically reserve the object according to the specifications you select with this feature.
