This section explains the following elements of Unifier interface:
- Dashboard
- Tabs
Dashboard (on-premises only)
Unifier displays the Dashboard icon ( ) only if you have access to a company dashboard.
The following lists the Dashboard page features:
- Fixed height and width
- Displays a chart
- Always remains as the first tab, so it cannot be reordered like other tabs
- Is not included in the scroll area, so it remains in place to the left of the scroll controls
Tabs
Unifier uses tab-based navigation. You can use tabs to navigate to frequently used locations such as:
- Company Workspace
- Shells (single-instance or multiple-instance)
- Projects
- Programs
Unifier allows you to:
- Create, and use, unlimited number of tabs.
- Rearrange your tabs locations on the screen. You can arrange tabs by dragging the tabs.
- Close all tabs (except one).
To create a new tab, click the plus (+) sign next to the existing tab on your screen. Use drag-and-drop to arrange tabs.
Note: When tabs no longer fit on the page, Unifier provides scrolling option and drop-down list to assist you with accessing all your tabs.
You can also create multiple tabs representing the same location to quickly navigate to, or in, different areas within that location.
Tabs maintain their states if you switch tabs.
Example
You are working in Schedule Manager (User mode) and decide to switch to another tab and switch back.
Unifier preserves your setting, Schedule Manager (User mode).
Similarly, when you sign out of Unifier and sign in again, you return to the tab that you were working with, before you signed out, with your settings preserved.
Note: First-time Unifier users see only the Home page. Returning users see all the tabs that were displayed in the previous Unifier version.
