Move a Document (Standard View)

When a file is moved, comments or markups associated with the document are moved with it automatically. To move a document, you must have the following permissions: Add Document folder permission in the destination folder and Move document permission in the source folder. If a file with the same name exists in the destination folder, you can choose to either cancel the move, revise the file in the destination folder, or keep both the files. When you select the option to revise, the file in the destination folder is revised and an entry is made in the Revisions tab. When you select the option to keep both files, the file you are moving will be appended with a number to distinguish it from the file that already exists. If you are moving multiple files at the same time, you can select the Apply for all conflicts checkbox to apply the same action for subsequent conflicts.
