(Optional) Configuring ODI Settings

If you are using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), complete the following steps to configure the ODI repository:

Note: If you are not using ODI, skip this procedure and see Configuring Multiple Data Sources to continue the configuration process.

  1. In the ODI Master Repository section:
    1. In the Master Repository URL field, enter the full JDBC connection string to the database instance containing the ODI Master Repository schema.
    2. In the Username field, enter the ODI Master Repository schema name (for example, DEV_ODI_REPO).
    3. In the Password field, enter the ODI Master Repository schema password.
    4. In the ODI Login Username field, enter the supervisor name for the ODI Master Repository (for example, SUPERVISOR).
    5. In the ODI Login Password field, enter the supervisor password for the ODI Master Repository.
  2. In the ODI Target Work Schema section:
    1. In the Username field, enter the name to be used for the ODI Target Work Schema.
    2. In the Password field, enter the password for the ODI Target Work Schema user.
    3. In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the password for the ODI Target Work Schema user.
  3. In the ODI Settings section:
    1. In the Work Repository field, ender the name of the ODI Work Repository (for example, WORKREP).
    2. In the ODI Agent URL field, enter the full URL to the ODI Java EE Agent, and click Test to check connectivity is established.
    3. In the Oracle Middleware Home field, click Browse, and navigate to the Oracle Middleware Home folder.
    4. In the Keep Log History (days) field, enter the number of days of history to be kept.
  4. Click Next.
