Description of the illustration ctt_example.gif
This is a screenshot of the Recovery Appliance Copy-to-Tape Job Templates page. On the top right is a confirmation message that states "Procedure COPY TO TAPE ZDLRA MOSCOW test3 090214014206 has been submitted." Under this you have the text that says "A copy-to-tape job template describes the backups that should be copied to tape and specifies a media manager attribute set to control the copy operation." Below this is the following itemized list:
-
"Parameters of a copy-to-tape template include:
-
The protected databases for which backups will be copied, via the specification of an individual database or a protection policy.
-
The types of backups (full, incremental, archived log) that should be copied. A typical schedule would be copying full backups weekly, and incremental and archived logs daily.
-
A media manager attribute set, which in turn specifies the media manager library to use for the copy operation.
-
-
An Enterprise Manager deployment procedure can be scheduled to run the copy-to-tape at regular intervals.
-
Each job execution will examine all backups of the specified databases, and queue Recovery Appliance tasks to copy those backups not yet copied to tape."
Under this text, there is a link pointing to the Media Managers Page. Below this is a table that lists three copy-to-tape jobs: Test1, Test2, and Test3 and their corresponding values under these columns: Protection Policy, Database, Media Managers (with subcolumns Library, Attribute Set, and Status), Backup Type, Priority, Scheduled, Tasks (with subcolumns Queued, Running, Completed (last 24 Hrs), and Status), Queued Data (GB), and Last Copy Activity.
