Process of Reviewing Quote Details

As part of the quote management process, you can review quote details and summaries, revenue estimates, negotiation rates, and so on in the Quote screen, Summary view. It is recommended that you review revenue estimates before generating an order to make sure that the information is accurate.

Siebel Hospitality calculates revenue differently according to whether taxes and service charges are applied. Examples of these calculations are set forth in Scenarios for Calculating Taxes, Service Charges, and Revenues.

To review quote details, perform the following tasks:

• Accessing the Quote Summary

• Reviewing the Quote Summary Header

• Reviewing the Quote Summary Revenue Thresholds

• Reviewing the Quote Summary Negotiation Rates

• Reviewing the Quote Summary Functions and Function Line Items

• Reviewing the Quote Summary Room Blocks and Room Block Line Items

Note: In the lists of the Quote screen, Summary view, the Core column, when selected, indicates that the item was generated from a meeting package administration record. The Package column displays the name of the associated meeting package, if any. For more information about meeting packages, see About Meeting Packages.
