Entity Relation

An entity relation contains the definition of the relation that Siebel Tools displays on the canvas.

This object type occurs in the following location in the object hierarchy:

• Siebel Objects > Entity Relationship Diagram > Entity Relation

The following table describes properties that Siebel CRM uses with an entity relation.

Property	Description
Cardinality	Specifies one of the following relationships: 1:1 (one to one) 1:M (one to many) M:1 (many to one) M:M (many to many)
End Name 1	Specifies the name for the start of the relationship.
End Name 2	Specifies the name for the end of the relationship.
Entity 1	Specifies the entity at the start of the relationship. You can specify an entity that references a predefined business component or a custom entity.
Entity 2	Specifies the entity at the end of the relationship. You can specify an entity that references a predefined business component or a custom entity.
Name	Specifies the name of the entity relation. You can specify the default name, such as Relation0, or you can use a custom name, such as one of the following names: Owns for Customer Owns Automobile
