How Siebel Creates Reports

Oracle Publisher (BIP or OAP) is the reporting module that Siebel CRM uses to run and manage reports. Siebel integrates with Oracle Publisher for report execution and administration. Oracle WebLogic Server and Publisher Server are installed as part of Oracle Publisher installation.

  1. Siebel CRM sends data from the Siebel Database to the Reports Publisher Server.

  2. The Reports Publisher Server merges the data with the report template from the Reports Publisher repository, and then sends this report to the Siebel client.
