Section - 7 : Setting Up the System as a Service
Note: You cannot run Docupresentment version 12.6.3 as a service using HTTP queues. To run Docupresentment as a service, you must use WebSphere MQ, ActiveMQ, or MSMQ.
To install Docupresentment as a service, open a command shell window and go to the directory into which you installed Docupresentment, such as c:\docserv
Next, enter this command in the c:\docserv directory:
Ds-service.bat

You should now see a window similar to the following window:

Docupresentment has been installed as a service on Windows when you see this message:
The Docucorp Watchdog Server automatic service was successfully installed.
Verifying Docupresentment was Installed as a Service

Open Control Panel and choose Administrative Tools. Then choose Services to open the Services Console.

When you start Docupresentment via the Services Console, you can make sure the service is running by going to Task Manager.

Open another command prompt and go to the installation directory, such as c:\docserv, and enter this command:
dsiexw32.exe

Uninstalling Docupresentment as a Service
To uninstall Docupresentment as a service, open a command window and go to the directory into which you installed Docupresentment, such as c:\docserv.
Next, enter this command in the c:\docserv directory:
Ds-service-uninstall.bat

You should see a window similar to this one:

Docupresentment has been uninstalled as a service on Windows when you see this message:
The Docucorp Watchdog Server automatic service was successfully uninstalled.
The Docucorp Watchdog Server entry will no longer appear in the Services Console. The Docupresentment watchdog service has been uninstalled.
