What changed?

Documaker12.6.3 provides the ability to attach (aka embed) the external PDF document into the transaction data so that it is carried along until print. PDFs that are attached as PDFs instead of being converted to a bitmap would allow certain functionality such as searching, adding notes, etc. to be applied to the attached/embedded pdf.

Why did it change?

Bug: 27669055 is an enhancement to support PDF Attachment. PDF Attachment, a form level property being used to insert a PDF file from disk into a form.

How does this change affect you?

This change affects you if:

• You are using Oracle Documaker Standard Edition to generate PDF output AND

• You use Oracle Documaker Enterprise Edition to generate PDF output

Are modifications needed to my setup for this change to take effect?

Yes.

ODSE : Enable PDF Attachment checkbox at Form Level options and then Map the XDD value in the Attachment Map Field.
