General Links and Information

The following general links and other information appear in the upper right area of the application:

• Preferences – for setting your own custom preferences
• Help – displays the online help
• Logout – logs you out of the application
• the user name you are logged in as, for example: You are logged in as John Doe
• the status icon – indicates the current working state, either idle (indicated by a blue oval) or active (indicated by an animated icon); when you are accessing a different area of the application, the icon will indicate the system is active
