Pre-installation Requirements

The minimum patch set level must be OFS DI Application Pack v8.1.2.1.0.

Installing this Release

To install this release, follow these steps:

1.        Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 35000985 under the Patches & Updates tab.

2.       Download the 35000985_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

3.       Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip -a 35000985_GENERIC.zip

NOTE: The "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.
If you notice the error message: “unzip: not found [No such file or directory”, before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator.

4.      Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

chmod -R 755 OFS_DIH

5.       Navigate to the following directory:

<>/OFS_DIH/bin

6.      Execute the install command:

./setup.sh

7.       Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_DIH/logs

Contact Oracle support in case of any error.

Post Installation Steps

After successful installation, perform the below steps:

1.        Unpublish all the Connectors.

2.       Delete the existing Knowledge Modules from the project in the ODI:

a.       KM_LKM_MultiFiles_to_Oracle__SQLLDR_.xml

b.       KM_IKM_MultiFiles_to_Oracle__SQLLDR__Direct_Target.xml

3.       Import the following Knowledge Modules from the $FIC_HOME/ODI/Knowledge_Modules to ODI:

a.       KM_LKM_MultiFiles_to_Oracle__SQLLDR_.xml

b.       KM_IKM_MultiFiles_to_Oracle__SQLLDR__Direct_Target.xml

4.      Publish the Connectors as required.
