Decline an Opportunity
After receiving and reviewing an invitation to bid, you can decline it to inform the general contractor that you do not plan to submit a bid.
While the general contractor will be able to see that you declined the invitation, you can change your organization's status to Accepted or Undecided later.
To decline an invitation to bid:
- On the My opportunities page, select a bid package.
Make sure the filters are set to include the relevant opportunities.
- On the Opportunity page, review the bid package and select Decline.
Tips
- You can also decline an opportunity on the My opportunities page. In the row for the opportunity that you want to decline, in the
Actions menu, select Decline. - To view a full list of files associated with an opportunity, select Maximize to maximize to a full page view. You can also resize file data columns by using your pointer to select the divider between column headers, then dragging it to the preferred location.
