Oracle Financial Services Capital Adequacy Pack (OFSCAP) Application Pack Release 8.1.1.0.0 One-off Patch Release #1 (8.1.1.1.1)

Description

Patch ID 34513431: OFS CAP APPLICATION PACK 8.1.1.1.0 ONE-OFF PATCH RELEASE #1 - 8.1.1.1.1

· Ensure that you have installed the Oracle Financial Services Capital Adequacy Pack 8.1.1.1.0.

· In the PR2 TABLES in CONFIG SCHEMA

1. Take back up of table PR2_RULE_QUERY.

2. Truncate the table PR2_RULE_QUERY.

To install the one-off patch, follow these steps:

1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 34513431 under the Patches & Updates tab.

2. Download the 34513431_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

3. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip -a 34513431_GENERIC.zip

NOTE	The -a option is mandatory to unzip the patch.

If you notice the error message: unzip: not found [No such file or directory before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator.

4. Navigate to the following directory: ./appsLibConfig/conf

5. Update params.conf file with appropriate values for UPLOAD_MODEL=0

6. Provide RWX permissions to the shell script: ./OFS_BASEL_BASIC/bin/setup.sh

7. Stop all the OFSAA services and Web services.

8. Execute the install command: ./setup.sh

9. Verify the log OFS_BASEL_BASIC_installation.log file in the ./OFS_BASEL_BASIC/logs directory to ensure if the patch is applied successfully.

10. After the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI services.

Grant CREATE JOB privilege to atomic schema using the following query:

GRANT CREATE JOB TO <atomic schema>;

The following issues are fixed in this release.

Hence no N-N pools will have an issue of infeasible covered factor. Also, N-1 pools will be processed by rule and will not be processed by the optimizer component.
33995157	BIS 3 PC AIRB: DILUTION RISK CRM OPTIMIZER COVERED FACTOR ISSUE	The covered factor calculation issue of Dilution risk pools with various cardinalities is fixed.
34067674	FN_DT_POP_UNCOVERED_MITIGANT OOB PROCESS NOT POPULATING RECORDS	Missing parameters of exposure type for the Uncovered mitigant Population task is fixed.
34987389	CRM OPTIMIZER COVERED FACTOR CALCULATION FAILURE	The issue of the Optimizer task mapped to the pooling execution rule in the BIS 3 STD run is fixed. The optimizer task is now mapped with Optimizer execution rule.
