Oracle Financial Services Capital Adequacy Pack (OFSCAP) Application Pack Release 8.1.1.0.0 One-off Patch Release #2 (8.1.1.1.2)

Description

Patch ID 36584592: OFS CAP APPLICATION PACK 8.1.1.1.0 ONE-OFF PATCH RELEASE #2 - 8.1.1.1.2

· Ensure that you have installed the Oracle Financial Services Capital Adequacy Pack 8.1.1.1.0.

To install the one-off patch, follow these steps:

1. Shut down the OFSAAI and web services.

2. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 36584592 under the Patches & Updates tab.

3. Download the 36584592_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

4. Copy/FTP the zip file 36584592_GENERIC.zip in BINARY mode, to a temporary folder on the server where OFSAAI is installed

5. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip -a 36584592_GENERIC.zip

NOTE	The -a option is mandatory to unzip the patch.

If you notice the error message: unzip: not found [No such file or directory before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator.

6. Navigate to the following directory: ./appsLibConfig/conf

7. Update params.conf file with appropriate values for UPLOAD_MODEL=0

8. Provide RWX permissions to the shell script: ./OFS_BASEL_BASIC/bin/setup.sh

9. Execute the install command: ./setup.sh

10. Verify the log OFS_BASEL_IRB_installation.log file under ./OFS_BASEL_IRB/logs directory, to ensure that the patch is applied successfully.

11. In the Command Prompt,navigate to the $FIC_WEB_HOME directory and type ./ant.sh. This will trigger the creation of EAR/WAR file-.ear/.war

The EAR/WAR file - .ear/.war - is created in $FIC_WEB_HOME directory.

12. On completion of EAR/WAR file creation, the message "BUILD SUCCESSFUL" is displayed.

13. Now deploy this EAR/WAR file in Webserver.

14. Clear the webserver cache.

15. After the successful installation of the release, restart all the OFSAAI services and web services.
