Pre-installation Requirements

Ensure
that you have installed the Oracle Financial Services Capital Adequacy Pack
8.1.2.4.0.
Pre-Installation Steps
In the PR2 TABLES in
CONFIG SCHEMA:
1.
Take
back up of table PR2_RULE_QUERY.
2. Truncate the table PR2_RULE_QUERY.
3. Deploy the file Consolidated_Perf_Tuning_Points.sql
after replacing the placeholders.
Partitions are a mandatory step
and index creation is optional but suggested.
How to Install this Release
To install the one-off patch, follow these steps:
1.
Log
in to My Oracle Support, and search for 36173277 under the Patches
& Updates tab.
2. Download the 36173277_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your
OFSAA server in Binary mode.
3. Extract the contents of the patch
archive file using the command:
unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>
For example: unzip -a 36173277_GENERIC.zip

NOTE |
The -a option is mandatory to unzip the patch. |
If you notice the
error message: unzip:
not found [No such file or directory before
the
package is installed,
contact your UNIX administrator.
4. Navigate to the following
directory: ./appsLibConfig/conf
5. Update params.conf file with appropriate values for UPLOAD_MODEL=0
6. Provide RWX permissions to
the shell script: ./OFS_BASEL_IRB/bin/setup.sh
7. Stop all the OFSAA services and Web services.
8. Execute the install command: ./setup.sh
9. Verify the log OFS_BASEL_IRB_installation.log file in the ./OFS_BASEL_IRB/logs directory to ensure that the patch is applied successfully.
10. After the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI services.
Post-Installation
PR2 TABLES in CONFIG SCHEMA
1.
Restore
the backup of PR2_RULE_QUERY, if required for the already run execution audit.
