Pre-installation Requirements
· Ensure that you have installed the Oracle Financial Services Capital Adequacy Pack 8.1.2.4.1.
Pre-Installation Steps
In the CONFIG SCHEMA:
1. Take back up of table PR2_RULE_QUERY.
2. Truncate the table PR2_RULE_QUERY.
3. Perform the Data Model changes as listed in the 81242_DM_Changes.xlsx
How to Install this Release
To install the one-off patch, follow these steps:
1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 36666505 under the Patches & Updates tab.
2. Download the 36666505_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.
3. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:
unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>
For example: unzip -a 36666505_GENERIC.zip

NOTE |
The -a option is mandatory to unzip the patch. |
If you notice the error message: unzip: not found [No such file or directory before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator.
4. Navigate to the following directory: ./appsLibConfig/conf
5. Update params.conf file with appropriate values for UPLOAD_MODEL=0
6. Provide RWX permissions to the shell script: ./OFS_BASEL_BASIC/bin/setup.sh
7. Stop all the OFSAA services and Web services.
8. Execute the install command: ./setup.sh
9. Verify the log OFS_BASEL_BASIC_installation.log file in the ./OFS_BASEL_BASIC/logs directory to ensure that the patch is applied successfully.
10. After the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI services.
Post-Installation
In the CONFIG SCHEMA
1. Restore the backup of PR2_RULE_QUERY, if required for the already run execution audit.
2. Open the existing Run Definitions in the “Regulatory Calculation Definitions” screen, review the options and resave the definitions to sync them with the new Run Parameters.
3. Optionally, you can also Import the Regulatory Calculation definition for Canada jurisdiction available within the installer at
./OFS_BASEL_BASIC/bin/BASEL_RUN_DEFINITIONS_CAN_PC.DMP
