ID 32104297 - ONE-OFF PATCH 8.1.0.1.1 FOR RECONCILIATION FRAMEWORK

Pre-installation Requirements

1. The minimum patch set level must be OFS Reconciliation Framework Application Pack v8.1.0.1.0.

2. Download and install the following mandatory one-off patches from My Oracle Support to the download directory that exists in the OFSAAAI installation setup:

Installing this Release

1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 32104297 under the Patches and Updates tab.

2. Download the 32104297_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

3. Shut down all the OFSAAI services.

4. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip -a 32104297_GENERIC.zip

Note: The "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.
If you notice the error message: “unzip: not found [No such file or directory” before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator.

5. Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

chmod -R 755 OFS_GLRECON

6. Navigate to the following directory:

<>/appsLibConfig/conf

7. Update the params.conf file with the upload model parameter as 0.

8. Navigate to the following directory:

<>/OFS_GLRECON/bin

9. Execute the install command:

./setup.sh

10. Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_GLRECON/logs

11. After successful installation, follow these steps:

a. Clear the application cache. Navigate to the following directories depending on the configured web application server and delete the files:

i. Tomcat: <Tomcat installation location>/work/Catalina/localhost/<Application Name>/org/apache/jsp

ii. WebLogic: <WebLogic installation location>/domains/<Domain name>/servers/<Server name>/tmp/_WL_user/<Application name>/<auto generated folder>/jsp_servlet

12. Delete the existing EAR or WAR file present in the $FIC_HOME/ficweb directory.

13. Generate the application EAR or WAR file and redeploy the application onto your configured web application server.

14. After the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI services.

6	32309257	ADJUSTMENT ISSUES FOUND IN 8101 ENVIRONMENT	Following issues were fixed after making code changes: a) Adjustment template having n_load_run_id column was failing to post records in pp in upgrade setup. b) Adjustment template was pointing to views instead of pp table for few cases. c) For Adjustment records > 8000 records with 60-70 default columns, pmf task was hanging. d) Even in case of error, pmf task was showing as completed.
7	32666572	GL ADJUSTMENT RULE SCREEN PAGINATION ISSUE	Resolved the pagination issue in Adjustment Template creation screen when number of default columns added is greater than 15.
