Synchronizing P6 Data Between On-Premises and Cloud

To synchronize data from an on-premises P6 source to the targeted P6, you will need to install a sync client application in your on-premises environment and then perform a PX – PX Initial Sync.

When you run a PX - PX Initial Sync, the PX schema contains data from the P6 source for which the publishing runs have already been executed in the P6 source. Since, the publishing runs have already been executed in the P6 on-premises source, you don’t need to execute the publishing runs in the P6 target.

This chapter describes how to install the sync client application.
