13 POS Discount

There are two methods to set up the POS discount:

• A Basic Setup with discount applicable to MICROS discount itemizer level.

• An Advance Setup with discount applicable to MICROS major group, family group, and menu item level.

You can choose to set up with one or both methods to provide for different type of discounts. The POS Discount Handling guide provides more information on how to configure the discounts, linking the MICROS Server and usage.
